Today, we sat down with Phil Dutton, Sales Manager at AFE Distribution, to learn more about his vision, advice, and snack of choice.

What did you do before you joined the For Everyone Group?

“I spent 9.5 years at AO, working in various departments such as sales, customer service, retention, and eventually transitioning to B2B as an account executive and manager. I briefly explored field sales with a plant hire company but found myself missing the excitement of selling products rather than renting them, which is why I joined AFE Distribution.”

What’s one thing you’re looking forward to achieving with the team this year?

“Hitting my Q4 target of accounts opened and growing the AFE Distribution channel alongside the sales team thus helping the For Everyone Group overall.”

What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone starting out in sales?

“Take the rough with the smooth. Sometimes, it may seem like success effortlessly comes your way, but remember that your efforts play a significant role. On tougher days, keep doing the basics and planting the seeds and the garden will grow.”

What’s your favourite office snack?

“Controversially in our office, I like bourbons. No one else does!”
